Piano and Voice Teacher
Being a piano and voice teacher is one of my favorite things. I love to see my student’s hearts and minds come alive with music.
I also am a John Lennon Songwriting Contest finalist and I have been nominated for three Covenant Awards. My songs have played on international radio. I started to write songs and play piano at the age of three. Later on, I was trained through Suzuki and the Royal Conservatory of Canada in both piano and voice. Over the years, I have sung on over 20 albums. I have also started traveling internationally as a musician and road manager. My obsession to grow as a musician lead me to pursue my Bachelor of Arts with Music Major at Vanguard College. Later, I went on to teach and lead the music program at CLBI College and I am now a piano and voice teacher. I really look forward to what is in store working with each of the students.
Why Do I Love Teaching?
I love teaching one-on-one lessons because it allows for such a unique and personal experience with each of my students. Each student often have different goals and interests. Some students want to start working towards classical testing through Royal Conservatory. While other students come in wanting to learn how to write music and chord on the piano. I also find students who want to sing and record their own music professionally. Every student is unique and has different goals and styles of music they like to listen to. That is what makes my job so exciting because I tailor fit the classroom to your individual goals.
One of the things I love most about teaching is seeing people getting excited about music. Music can be such an important tool for learning and personal expression. I’m excited to come alongside of you in your musical adventure.
